Who is LSI?
Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) was created by the integration of Bremwood Lutheran Services and Lutheran Social Service of Iowa in August 2003. LSI provides services through 15 different locations in Iowa - Ames, Charles City, Clinton, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Denison, Des Moines, Dubuque, Indianola, Manchester, Muscatine, Sioux City, Spencer, Waterloo, Waverly.
What does LSI do?
LSI impacts the lives of more than 40,000 Iowans annually through residential treatment, services to families, home health care, early childhood programs, adoption/foster care services, refugee resettlement, services for people with disabilities, disaster response initiatives and Barnabas Uplift. LSI is affiliated with Lutheran Services in America and three Iowa synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

What benefits does LSI offer to its employees?
LSI offers a competitive wage and benefit package for full-time staff working 40 hours per week. Benefits are pro-rated for part-time staff working at least 32-39 hours per week. More specifically, our benefit package includes: health, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid time off; short and long term disability insurance; an employee assistance program (EAP); and a 401(k) plan. In addition, LSI provides a wide variety of personal and professional development opportunities each year.

LSI receives monies from ELCA congregations, foundations, United Ways, corporations, private contracts and grants, client fees, state and local governments, and countless individual donors.
