LSI Advocacy Forums
January 05, 2009
LSI is hosting legislative forums in five locations throughout the state. During our forums we will discuss how the recent disasters and economic woes create even more difficult hardships for many Iowans making services like those provided by LSI and other social service agencies even more important. We will also highlight our key issues that we would like to see addressed by the Iowa government including the Family Investment Program (FIP), early childhood and HOPES programs and immigration reform.
LSI consumers will also be sharing their stories at these locations. Encourage those who represent you at the Capitol to attend!
