Lutheran Day on the Hill

LSI invites you to join us on Monday, March 1, at the state capitol as we celebrate Lutheran Day on the Hill to advocate for children, families and individuals in Iowa. LSI staff, leadership, volunteers and community members will talk with legislators about important issues facing the most vulnerable populations of Iowa.
One voice can change the lives of many! Help LSI urge our legislators to not cut budgets for human services. This year is a trying time for our government as they try to balance the budget. Let your representative know in person that cutting human services is not the answer. The recent disasters and economic woes create even more difficult hardships for many Iowans making services like those provided by LSI and other social service agencies even more important.
Schedule
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m: Welcome, Keynote and Orientation at Elim Christian Fellowship.
11:30 a.m.: Lunch (provided)
1 p.m.: Make contact with legislators at the Capitol
