At LSI’s Beloit and Bremwood Residential Treatment Centers, we know that our children and teens have faced tremendous challenges, struggles or even tragedy.
That’s why LSI works to create a trauma-sensitive environment where kids feel safe to heal. We support everyone in the child's community, work to eliminate violence and use teamwork to overcome obstacles.
We empower kids, families and staff by responding with dignity and respect, displaying empathy and giving courage to those who need support. We accept ownership in the community by being a role model for humanity, strength and supportive communication.
Iowa’s children and teens are our future. At LSI, we help youth build futures full of hope.
Trained Staff
LSI’s residential treatment staff includes highly trained professionals. Our licensed staff consists
of master’s level therapists and licensed social workers. Our trained staff of youth program
specialists and assistants have a strong human services background and complete regular
trainings on topics such as ethics, risk management, universal precautions, trauma-sensitive care,
de-escalation,
CPR, first aid, medication management, mandatory reporter training and other issues. Our
children and teens also have access to a child psychiatrist, nursing staff, on-campus teachers,
tutors, pastors and mentors.
